Why not join Blog Scholar (http://www.blogscholar.com) (non-profit academic blogging portal from the University of London) and add a content piece about it, encouraging others to participate. We are always on the lookout for interesting projects related to academic blogging.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6642011.post-1127253097127100142005-09-20T17:51:00.000-04:002005-09-20T17:51:00.000-04:00Sure, tag whomever you want, that's optional thoug...Sure, tag whomever you want, that's optional though.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6642011.post-1127223318990376482005-09-20T09:35:00.000-04:002005-09-20T09:35:00.000-04:00OK, I did it:http://sciencepolitics.blogspot.com/2...OK, I did it:
http://sciencepolitics.blogspot.com/2005/09/academic-blog-survey.htmlAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6642011.post-1127218613229500702005-09-20T08:16:00.000-04:002005-09-20T08:16:00.000-04:00How about tagging people to continue the meme? How about tagging people to continue the meme?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6642011.post-1127176996451540022005-09-19T20:43:00.000-04:002005-09-19T20:43:00.000-04:00You just take all the links from the post where yo...You just take all the links from the post where you found the meme, and add your own to the end of the list. That's all. So yes, whoever picks it up after you will then have an even longer list, since they will add their own blog to it, and so forth. But you don't have to update your own post, or anything annoying like that.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6642011.post-1127170450753414682005-09-19T18:54:00.000-04:002005-09-19T18:54:00.000-04:00Hmm, I may do this, but I'll have to do it twice -...Hmm, I may do this, but I'll have to do it twice - once on each blog as the two are very different.

Are we supposed to keep adding more and more links (beyond three)?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6642011.post-1127087800709876402005-09-18T19:56:00.000-04:002005-09-18T19:56:00.000-04:00Well, by that criterion everything we do or say is...Well, by that criterion everything we do or say is implicitly "personal". But for current purposes I want this category to be mutually exclusive with the other two ('academic' and 'political'). What I really mean is that I don't blog about my "personal life" - e.g. cats, family, friends, etc. (I was hoping the meaning would be clear enough from the context, but I guess it doesn't hurt to clarify.)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6642011.post-1127060674653194202005-09-18T12:24:00.000-04:002005-09-18T12:24:00.000-04:00Now I am not trying to be nit-picky but isn't this...Now I am not trying to be nit-picky but isn't this blog implicitly personal? They are your opinions, what you think is important, relevant and interesting. Ipso facto, it seems to me, this is a predominantly if not 100% personal blog.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
