Although, it does seem that most people got existentialism.afbswh abdwejhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11678183600487437873noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6642011.post-1112030640223006752005-03-28T12:24:00.000-05:002005-03-28T12:24:00.000-05:00I think all those meaning questions are the existe...I think all those meaning questions are the existentialism. i.e. if you think you can give meaning to life or that meaning has life. As always, I'm not at all convinced these measure much. I got put at divine command at 85% and existentialism next at 65% with justice at 60%.Clark Goblehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03876620613578404474noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6642011.post-1111986206631449352005-03-28T00:03:00.000-05:002005-03-28T00:03:00.000-05:00"But surely existentialism involves other substant..."But surely existentialism involves other substantive claims besides that?" - I think you are reading a little bit too far into an online quiz. It does seem to be only talking about ethics (maybe it is just poorly named).

My results:
Existentialism 100%
Nihilism 75%
Justice (Fairness) 65%
Utilitarianism 45%
Kantianism 25%
Strong Egoism 15%
Hedonism 5%
Divine Command 0%
Apathy 0%

75 for nihilism is high, even for me, especially since it is above justice. Maybe it would have been better if there was a "this question is stupid" option.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6642011.post-1111976727155832772005-03-27T21:25:00.000-05:002005-03-27T21:25:00.000-05:00Utilitarianism 85% Hedonism 80% Existentialism 80%...Utilitarianism 85%
Hedonism 80%
Existentialism 80%
Kantianism 70%
Justice (Fairness) 55%
Strong Egoism 45%
Divine Command 25%
Nihilism 5%
Apathy 0%

I realised I could have rated the questions a little differently depending on what I tok to mean the "middle point" for example if they ask me

"I always work to benefit myself above others."

it depends on if "others" is including or excluding me and how many of them there are.Geniushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11624496692217466430noreply@blogger.com
